A swimmer from Stralauer Allee is caught by works guards
In a report at 1.35 a.m. on 17 August 1961 the Friedrichshain police recorded that a man had jumped into the Spree at the level of Stralauer Allee to reach the western side, but had been caught by the works security on the grounds of 'VE BAW Treptow'.

He was arrested by the works security (BS) on the grounds of 'VE BAW Treptow' and taken to the Friedrichshain police inspectorate.
