Two men of about 18 climb the wall to the goods yard at Eberswalder Straße

At 12.30 a.m. on 23 August 1961 two men of about 18 climbed over the wall to the goods yard at Eberswalder Straße, heading west.

The railway police reported at 3.30 a.m. on 23 August 1961 that at 12.30 a.m. two men, about 18 years old, had climbed over the wall to the goods yard at Eberswalder Straße in the direction of the West. The information came from a railwayman of the railway police on duty at the goods yard.

On the evening of 13 August a signalman had already reported that people from East Berlin were climbing the dividing wall between Eberswalder Straße and the railway land; the railway police could give no numbers.
