On 26 August 1961 a woman jumped from a first-floor window of Bernauer Straße 2; she was hurt and taken to safety by West Berlin police.
On 26 August 1961 a woman jumped from the first floor of Bernauer Straße 2 down to the West Berlin pavement.
She was injured in the fall. West Berlin police took her to safety.
Bernauer Straße 2, on the corner near Ackerstraße, was the starting point of several escapes in 1961, including two in the night of 30 August and a border policeman's jump in October.
