Over the sports ground in Dresdner Straße with a child and a suitcase
On 13 August 1961 a woman with a child and a suitcase left for West Berlin across the sports ground in Dresdner Straße.
At 1.15 p.m. on 13 August 1961 police station (VPR) 12 in Mitte reported that 'three hours ago' a woman with a child and a suitcase had left illegally for West Berlin across the sports ground in Dresdner Straße.
By that reckoning she crossed at about 10.15 a.m. The journal gives no names and does not describe how she got across.
